Finally VMware Introduced vSphere 6.5 at VMworld Europe 2016. Let's have a quick insight of new features 

What's new in vSphere 6.5

Highlighted features

- Native HA for vCenter (VCSA)
- VCSA with integrated VUM
- HTML5 webclient (Yes fling made it to 6.5)
- Build-in native vCenter backup and restore (Application consistence backup!!!)
- PowerCLI modules (100% modules base)
- datacentre CLI to manage Photon containers
- vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface ( aka. VAMI)

- Simplified admission control settings (no more slot size calculation)
- New HA restart priorities
- vSphere HA orchestrated restart (love it!!)
- Proactive HA
- Granular DRS
- Network-Aware DRS

VSAN 6.5
- 2-node Direct Connect and Witness traffic separation
- Provide block storage (iSCSI) out of VSAN .

- VM encryption
- Encrypted vMotion
- Secure boot for ESXi hosts and VM’s
- Enhanced Logging
