In vRealize Operations, we can install management packs for different solutions including Vmware and Third Party solutions such as Cisco UCS. In this blog, we are going to see how we can install management pack for Cisco UCS in vRealize Operations.

First you need to download Management Pack (*.PAK) file for solution. You may download it from Vmware Market Place (https://marketplace.vmware.com). It will redirect to the vendor website.

Now login to vRealize Operations Management Console.

Under Administration tab, Click on Solution in left panel and go to Repository.

Click on Add Management Pack.

Browse *.PAK file for Cisco UCS which you downloaded, Click on Upload.

Click Next.

Accept Term & Condition.

Now you can see that Cisco UCS Management pack has been added to your vRealize Operations console. Now you can add instances of your UCS domains and start collecting data. I have added 13 instances here which I will show in next blog "How to add Instances in vRops".
