Upgrade ESXi 6.5 to ESXi 6.7

Step by Step

Login to ESXi Host through GUI Mode. https://ESXi_IPAddress/.

Power off all the virtual machine if ESXi is not part of Cluster or vCenter Server. If ESXi is part of vCenter, then migrate all the VMs to other host.

Put host in maintainance mode.

Enable SSH to Host and Connect through Putty.

Run below commands to upgrade the host.

esxcli network firewall ruleset set -e true -r httpClient

esxcli software profile update -d -p ESXi-6.7.0-20220104001-standard

esxcli network firewall ruleset set -e false -r httpClient
